Easy Morning
The lack of spice in my work lately has prompted me to refer to other stints. In fairness, blogging can only last so long. I mean, genius can strike but there are some rather very short thoughts that seem most appropriate for micro blogs like Twitter. So yes, I'm catching the Twit-flu.
Anyway, since today is such a good morning (I mean it), I opened up my Twitter and decided to "update". I said, "I'm drinking coffee and singing praises" which is really what I'm doing. What a great way to start the morning.
After the chapter assembly last night in Makati, I decided to go home to my folks' house and get stuff for the weekend outing my household and I will be having. Because of that, I hitched a ride my folks as well. I didn't have to commute or worry about the traffic since I got here at the office so fast. I even had breakfast at home and was able to talk to my parents at the same time. My dad was in a good mood. I was pleading with him to buy me a camera in Sim Lim when he goes to Singapore this month. I'm so excited!
On the way here, I sat beside my sister. I was teasing her and my other brother all the way to work. I was commenting on her monsky toy and that how unfortunate she did not remember to give me one as well. It's funny because she was probably feeling guilty about it that she was willing to part with her toy just so I could have it. How sweet, right?
I continued to torment her recounting how she always asks so many things from me like, "Ate, buy me this, buy me that..." Anyway, she tried her best to rebut me and told me some of the things she bought for me from her recent US trip. I am actually surprised she bought me a pair of Adidad shoes, particularly the one I requested for, then some perfume, bag, make-up and stuff. She is actually a good sister and I feel bad already I can't take her out to the movies tonight. I promised to make good next weekend, which is my payday.
