I Got My Student Driver's Permit!
Imagine how thrilled I was when I finally got my student permit today! I walked out of LTO Pasay Office feeling elated and just beaming all together. The ardous waiting for hours the previous Tuesday paid off. Now I can legally start my driving lessons and probably this would boost my confidence to just learn. Haha.. I know it sounds pathetic and probably unimagineable for most people that at 25, I'm only about to learn how to drive. But for me, this is just the ticket to my ultimate single life! All thanks to my new friend Ben, who bothered to go to LTO with me and is actually my driving instructor and owner of the poor car I'm going to use to learn. 
Congrat's on reaching that milestone! I recall my reaching that level, I
was 17, working at a gas station as a gas jockey, and managed to take a
Driver's Ed course that summer at my High School, and was 1 of the 1st
people I knew to obtain my license. I purchased a 1974 Dodge Satellite for
$500, before my parents found out, and when they did, they were angry! I
had to return the car and get my money back. It was an awesome car, with a
V8 engine, a "killer" stereo system and huge rear tires. How I miss that
car, and how angry I was with my parents for a month, 'til I was able to
purchase my next car, a Dodge Dart with a V6 engine, and a lot of rot and
rust. Sold that car, bought a 1981 Ford, which I managed to kill. Anyway,
best of luck driving. When I 1st had my license, I used to drive for miles.
Now, I don't listen to music when I drive, I get angry watching people
drive through "Stop signs" & forge to use their directional/blinker! I'm
getting old!
